When Hollywood’s sexiest bachelor meets the girl next door their relationship doesn’t follow the
On-screen, Christian Slade is America’s favorite heartthrob. Off-screen, letting romance into his life
isn’t as easy. The women he dates all seem to want a piece of his glamorous life rather than his
heart, and trust doesn’t come easy for him.
Then along comes Lana. A beautiful rocket scientist who’s also sweet, smart, sexy, and has
absolutely no idea who he is. But what will happen when she finds out?
Will their worlds prove too far apart or could love really be like in the movies?
Have Christian checked out that stunning, STUNNING beautiful cover.? Oh my goodness!! Can I dive right into it?
This is book four in the series. But each book can be read as a standalone. Like I did with this one. After reading this though, I am most definitely going back reading the previous books.
I loved, LOVED this book. It begins with Lana crying and hiding in a closet in the dark. Christian happens to stumble into the closet also, hiding from people. But they are worlds apart and have very different reasons for hiding in the closet.
This becomes a beautiful story of the most unlikely couple from very different lifestyles colliding together to form a perfect love story.
Lana, a rocket scientist who loves the quiet life and reading as a hobby. A cat lover. No television. Not interested in the news, celebrities and the likes etc.
Christian, a hot celebrity actor who is always in the public eye, on tv, splashed over magazines and newspapers.
Lana is my favourite character, probably because she is very much like me minus the rocket scientist. But Christians character is just a good, I think he’s one of them, men, that most people dream of.
I loved the drama, love, humour, conflict, reading how two very different lives and two very different people can become one. I love how Lana is so honest with her feelings with Christians fame and how she put all that aside and went with how she felt for Christian. And I love how Christian accepted how she felt and tried so hard to make her happy and continue with the job he loved so much.
I loved how the author made both characters so real. It didn’t feel like a fairytale as it was filled with very real people, real lives. Not a fake it only happens in Hollywood fairytale.
I would love to hear more about penny and also chef Jeff their excellent characters in their own right and would be lovely to hear there story.
Overall it was a wonderful romantic comedy that had it all. Beautiful, funny, real, feel-good, fast-paced and lose yourself kinda book.

Camilla is an engineer turned writer after she quit her job to follow her husband on an adventure
She’s a cat lover, coffee addict, and shoe hoarder. Besides writing, she loves reading—duh!—
cooking, watching bad TV, and going to the movies—popcorn, please. She’s a bit of a foodie, nothing
too serious. A keen traveler, Camilla knows mosquitoes play a role in the ecosystem, and she doesn’t
want to starve all those frog princes out there, but she could really live without them.
