“A gripping, must read for anyone who loves detective novels.”

Mysterious, ritualistic murders…

Ties to an ancient Native American demon…

Detective Kacy Lang and her partners find themselves chasing ghosts, as every clue leads back to Kacy’s twin brother’s murder. But that isn’t possible. Everyone connected to that case was either dead or behind bars. She convinces herself it’s coincidence… until a bloody wall reveals the killer’s endgame.

Happy Birthday, Kacy, it’s time to dance with the devil.

Ooooh!!! And Detective Kacy Lang Is back!!! I absolutely fell in love with her in the first book of this series.

Detective Kacy Lang is a strong, fierce, independent, stubborn and badass women as well as a Detective with a hint of a potty mouth.

Also, we can’t forget the wonderfully sweet, non-potty mouthed Dave Capello.

An opposite attracts work relationship made in heaven.

They are also joined by a new member, Greg. Who was promoted due to his work on their last case. He’s fast becoming another enjoyable character.

I think what is amazing about this book is even though Kacy and Dave are the main characters. You can not help but literally love all the characters in this book too. You get totally invested even emotionally with these characters and their lives, as well there relationships with Kacy.

The plot is totally fantastic. They thought her brother’s murder was over until they started to get clues and are met with a wall with a message for Kacy in blood.

A Frightening and thrilling murder is on the loose leaving surprises in important places connected to her brother’s murder.

An Outstanding, Terrific exciting book. All consuming loveable characters. Fierce Badass Detective & A sweet partner and An Opposite Attract, Work Partnership fighting horrific crimes.

  • Fast-paced.
  • Brilliantly Written.
  • Excellent Characters Development.
  • Twists and Turns
  • Gripping Outstanding Plot.

Linda S. Prather

Linda S. Prather is a New York Times and USA Today bestselling author living in Lexington, Kentucky. Shehas always had a penchant for things a little outside the norm. “I saw my first “ghost” when I was five years old, and I’ve spent a lifetime trying to understand that vision. Was it real? And if it was, why? I became a paranormal investigator and love old houses that go bump in the night. I can often be found in old cemeteries just hanging out.” Linda says.

She has studied metaphysics, including the areas of touch healing, dream analysis, meditation and hypnosis. The power of the mind has always fascinated her.

When reading she love books that allow her to travel around the world without ever leaving home. As an author her greatest desire is to create characters that readers can love and hate, laugh and cry with, and stories that allow the reader to spend a few hours in sheer entertainment.

The Jacody Ives series was her first attempt to combine her love of true mystery and the paranormal. The Catherine Mans’ series continues and expands that combination, delving into the darker side of the power of the mind.

She finished her first romantic suspense in 2015, and having been a member of the judicial system for the past 19 years, wrote her first two legal thrillers in 2016. Also in 2016, she joined a long-time friend and fellow NYT bestselling author, M. A. Comley in a joint series titled the Deception series. They released their first novella and two full-length novels in 2016.
