Characters

Mel has created some fantastic diverse characters in this book.

Throughout the book you see different sides to Lucy, the person she was while under her abuser's power and Present lucy just trying to move on with her life and become happy and free.

Trisha is just a wonderful beautiful heartwarming character, she is the friend we all want. She selfishly gives all her support and love to Lucy at whatever cost. Lucy and Trisha's relationship is just delightful and lovely to read.

Micheal honestly feels like a king in shiny armour and seems too good to be true? Is he or isn't he? He is an interesting character and again it's intriguing to see Michaels and Lucys Relationship grow.

There were plenty of other characters some who are bad and not trustworthy at all. Mel has created some awesome antagonists. And the characters added a whole lot more to this book.

Writing Style/Pacing

Another fast-paced book. Mel is a tremendous writer/author and every genre or book she tries her hand at, they always turn out to be 100% perfect. This is her first psychological thriller, and yet again she accomplished and crushed it. Another genre and book to her vast collection of books.

A book that has a pinch of everything from romance, crime, friendship, lies and deceit etc.
